Cbs Chicago went live on facebook to bring coverage of this stolen ambulance pursuit . Troopers were able to lay down spike strips and eventually bring the ambulance to a stop along the freeway, the suspect got out pretending to surrender to police but then took off running to the opposite side of the freeway almost getting run over trying to stop a vehicle and escape again. luckily K9 and other police were there to to tackle him and take him into custody.
